York National Railway Museum is an amazing place to heritage trains including steam trains, diesel trains and more modern trains. It is a massive place and it is very interesting just to have a walk round. It is free entry and you don’t have to pay for anything if you don’t want to. I really like this museum and would recommend it to other train enthusiasts like me. There is a turntable and they have demonstrations so you can watch the a train go round in a 360° circle. It has steam rides and a miniature railway you can ride on. I would always recommend you visit the viewing balcony which you can see most trains that come in and out of York Station. There is a workshop which you can see the locomotives which are either being restored or being built.

Overall I highly recommend you visit York National Railway Museum for a nice day out!
